But I more want flashlight as an option because it makes the process of walking a lot more involved and active. Vision is information.

Among Us is a game about information. Crew wants to use information to eject impostors. Impostors want to push disinformation and hide true information to thwart crew for long enough to obtain majority.

Most game settings are about controlling information. Vision, Task Bar Updates, Visual Tasks, Vote Anonymity, Confirm Ejects are all about controlling what and how much information crew will get.
