that's one of the shortcomings of the game's friend list, when someone who is already IN your friend list sends you a GAME request, at your end it looks like a friend request, and if you area already in another lobby, it removes you from that one. so from your POV you tried to accept a friend request and randomly get kicked from a game.

I'm still not 100% certain what exactly you are trying to say the problem is, but being friended on the friend list with someone who is also a hacker can literally not do anything to you. Your girlfriend does not have to be afraid. You can also look and find your friend code and give it to her so she can see it's you to accept the right one. If that is NOT your issue, I literally have no idea.

I'm unsure how this lobby ban system works but apparently it's banning players off of their IP addresses, correct?

Well, VPNs counter that instead I believe they should make it so that it should ban players off of their friend codes instead every player has a different code.

The server will add that friend code from the user that got banned on some database

And if the user with the same friend code tries to rejoin the same lobby they're banned from, the server will check if the friend code matches the database of banned friend codes from joining this particular lobby, and if there's a match the server will give the player the banned popup message as usual.

Before you ask, I believe this is good because of two reasons: 1. VPNs will be rendered useless because VPNs do not change friend codes. 2. It is quite literally impossible to change your friend code unless you're hacking or whatnot.

I agree the update was not received well due to the constant black screens still now happens on vanilla among us, the bugs are annoying, downside also there's 5 lobbies listed, players aren't listed like more lobbies on top but it can be improved to 12 atleast and some starfield in the bg makes it look nicer, the return of TrueHostName was pretty awesome cuz with mods u can see lobby names again before randomised update in 2022. Other than that the update is an improvement

To be honest, I don't have a favorite task, but I do have 2 most hated tasks.

Clear Asteroids with anything but stick controls. Motion aiming is the best feeling.

Probably known fact: Short and Common tasks remove 3 seconds from the timer in Hide and Seek, Long tasks remove 5 seconds.

And this is why Download is not worth it, at least on Skeld.
Is considered a SHORT task for some reason.

At least the bean running between folders helps with the task timing so you can fake it as Impostor.

About 20-24 or 25 seconds of doing the task in 2 different parts, just to remove 3 seconds from the timer.

One could've done Start Reactor or Trash on that time, and remove 5 seconds.

The other task I dislike is Medbay Scan (Hide and Seek only)
Wel... I could make a case for Start Reactor too... Or most of the long tasks.

But at least with most of them you can click off and return later.
Medbay scan is either doing it full, or not doing it, another panic simulator.
