If that's not the case, then you probably shouldn't.

"throwing" your partner. proceed with extreme caution here. this one WILL piss people off sometimes. especially since most pubs do it poorly, so it has an extremely bad rep. you are automatically considered a huge jerk by some, altho most will understand, especially if you win. DO NOT, i repeat DO NOT just say "blue is imp, vote" for no reason whatsoever, especially not early game and/or if they had NO sus previously. a much better option (and the only one that i will personally do) is IF your partner gets some sus later in the game (sus, not direct accuse) pick a crewmate, especially if they are sus at ALL, and say both names... "i kinda sus pink and blue here..." where the FIRST name you say is the crewmate, and the 2nd is your partner. this is a twofold psychology trick. first, if crew aren't sure, they're liable to vote the first name said. crewmate gets voted. imp win yay. if crew susses your partner more strongly and your partner is the one who gets voted, now you look more crewlike and clear because you did mention them as being sus.

i usually avoid calling out partner, usually i just don't defend/vouch, but if they really sussy i will do what i said in the text block above, and name them as a possible sus along with another person. not a callout, but a "ok yea, this person is sus..."

Last night an Impostor apparently shapeshifted into their partner and made an obvious kill. Partner was voted out without doing a single thing, especially since the tracker tracked the shifter. I was mad for them.

I personally never shift into my partner since its such a risky gamble

I actually buttoned on my partner 2 days ago bc they vanished in front of 4 people, myself included, and I was too appalled to defend them.

i have tactically shifted into my partner. by that i mean (if i know its someone smart enough to not waste this...) i'll run up shifted as my partner and kill someone in view of a crewmate with my partner also right there... that way its painfully obvious there is a shifter.

Yeah. Like if I know my partner well enough, or opportunity arises, I might shift into them IF theyre around me. Ive had partners shift into me and crew have seen me chasing them which gives me credibility.

One thing ill tell people is (in 2 or 3 imp games)
-Your role is a team effort.
Just because youve been ejected while your partner(s) is/are still in doesnt mean you lost. Youre a TEAM.

Just dont shut doors in their faces.

Hey everyone! I really need some help.

I've been playing Among Us on Google Play since 2020 (not always regularly), but I've stuck with it over the years. A few days ago, I decided to buy the PC version by paying a friend to gift it to me on Steam.

I made the switch mainly because I want to play with German players—but most of them use a mod called The Other Roles. The problem is that the latest version of this mod (v4.8.0) only works with Among Us version v2023.11.28s, which came out on 2024.11.26.

Now I'm stuck. No matter what I try, I can't find a way to download that specific game version on Steam. ChatGPT mentioned that I might need some kind of private code to access older versions, but I have no idea how to get it.

If anyone knows how to get this specific version of the game or has a working setup with the mod, please help me out!

I'm not sure if the Among Us server would be okay with sharing details on how to do that here, so I'd err on the side of caution and suggest you go to the ones that require it instead.

I have been extremely careful not to leave any lobbies early since the latest update and I just got banned for 114 minutes for disconnecting from getting black screen when loading into a lobby. 114 minutes for ONE early disconnect is absolute insanity. Should I report this bug? Is there anywhere I can see my account standing and check my violations for this? It’s extremely upsetting to me.
