don't self too often. don't skip on vital numbers. don't accuse your partner out of nowhere when they have no sus

don't lean on your partner for a clear. if they would reasonably clear you as a crewmate that is a great clear. if you are leaning on them saying "soandso saw me in xyz location" when you are being sussed, all you do is drag them down with you.

The most consistent mistake inexperienced crew make is sheeping whoever seems to be leading the meeting and never questioning the narrative being presented to them

the cosmicube? you need to earn it. open up the inventory trunk in lobby, go to that cube and hit "activate". then as you play you will gain pods for that cube. use those pods to "buy" the items in the cube. once you reach 100% you deactivate the cube

When you hit 14-15, it's too many crewmates for 2 imps to reasonably fight, but upping to 3 imps means you get into the problem of needing to balance 3 games with one set of settings. Which is... bad. It doesn't work.

Every 2 imp game should be expected to become a 1 imp game. 1 imp doesn't care about confirms or anon votes, so inheriting confirms off/anon votes from the 2 imp part is no issue.

1 imp needs to have a low enough KCD to reasonably pick off crewmates fast enough. What that is varies by players, but the criteria is still managable for 1 imp. Starting from a 2 imp game, this is also fine. They can share a KCD.

THREE imps needs the opposite settings of an 2 imp game

Long KCD (so they can't kill everyone before a single meeting), and at the very least anon votes OFF because the meeting power of 3 people is way too much to go unchecked.

The reson for spamming the door from inside is that never opens the bottom door. If you spam the decon door from the outside, it triggers the steam and opens the other end afterwards. That's only a 1 cycle delay.

If you hit the button from inside, the stem isn't triggered and the other door never opens. All you need to do is win the button mashing war long enough so by the time they make it inside, it's too late.

And that's even assuming two of them made it in, instead of just one.

I really wanted to ramble about my Among Us AU that I've had in the works for about more then a year now, so here it is. :3

So basically in this universe the Among Us impostors are actually not evil.

The Imposters are mostly their own species, with a greater number of them being scientifically genetically altered crewmates or being cremates that have been infected by a parasite. (This caused them to be shunned and exiled from their homes with the other crewmates.)

they live together in harmony.

The one thing that all imposters have in common, whether naturally born or created through genetic alterations on crewmates through science or parasites, is that crewmate scientists ran cruel and painful tests on them using them as test subjects and Lab Rats. the reason as to why they kill crewmates and sabotage their missions is because they are trying to exact their Revenge in the name of their fallen brethren.
Sort of like the pilgrims and Native Americans but Science fiction.

Some imposters have made friends with some crewmates, others have fallen in love with crewmates and have had families with them.
The only reason that they eat crewmates is because they taste really good and sometimes it's hard to resist one’s own natural urges.

1.25-1.5 = Most sane people are here

Style 1: They can do tasks, but they don't effect the taskbar at all.
Style 2: They can do tasks. Every task an impostor completes is 1 less task crewmates need to complete.

If a game is designed to be played for free, then you are the product. They either want to shove ads in your face, or want you to buy infinite micro-transactions that will VERY quickly become more expensive than a game you pay for up front.

i keep my discussion time low and vote time long, because in the off chance someone gets caught red handed and gives up, we don't have to sit around twiddling our thumbs for a minute. but it does bite me in the butt with SOME public players that i let in because they just instantly vote the second the initial 15 seconds is up, regardless of what round it is or how many players are left.
