The floor pattern was throwing me off when I was looking at the map, then noticing one tile is not filled in it.

Well, it's part of learning, and yeah the colors could pop more, since the colors looks dull, and the moon has no shine to it either, the sky could be darker or have it like a gradient, the stars could shine, the light and shadow should be hitting the character.

i can never rename my characters 😭 im still struggling with some renames of some VERY old characters that i hadn't used in years prior to redesigning and renaming them

Purble is a kinda stupid name but purble is stuck with it now. too used to it.

I generally change outfits only when new non-collab cosmetics come out and I check if any fit on characters.

Like swapping Cyanide's top hat from the old white one to the NYE grayish white one with the decor on it

that's basically what happened for me...except idc if its colab or not. i just go for what looks best and/or fits the characters existing theme somehow

I avoid collab cosmetics for the most part on characters because I want most of the look to be Among Us pure

i changed Etsijia from rose to coral, because i decided i didn't wanna have 2 rose beans, and took the opportunity to change her oufit a little because before that it was kinda... meh? and i changed Rose's clothing but not her hat. i thought the new dress was slightly cuter than the old one.

When I have more than one bean of a color... that's pretty much a tell. One will live. The others are fodder and may die at any given time.
