Feels like winning impostor is WAY harder than the 2D flat version.
Why?
Because of the 180 view. You MUST always look around MORE instead of seeing all the angle like in 2D.
ANd also Voice chat. (No not that your role can be heard) like teaming is WAY easier here than the 2D aka grouping. People always hated airship because it was too big but it was meant to ruin grouping. Once three players group you become overpowered as any death can eliminated a great portion of suspects. In a 3 v 1 scenario the crewmates can win. Grouping in this game is WAY TOO COMMON.Not even 1 round and they already formed a group.The only thing that counters this is wraith but you need a 2nd impostor so 1 impostor lobbies cant do anything but LOSE. We either do sabotages that split the group further away or give the imposter a role to counter this.

Roles that are op. Sure you can disable them but they dont really offer us any gameplay changes.The update introduced the 3 event roles back (key word EVENT).WHy does this matter?Because they don't fit the formula.From a discussion to an impostor getting deputy feels wrong.Wraith straight up being op and bad at the same time (You die and let 1 impostor left meaning crewmates need 1 decision BUT you can straight up form a group and let the WRAITH kill everyone clearing yourself the whole round).The lack of normal roles really makes the crewmate / impostor gameplay more bland. My changes that I would do: (Note you can disable these)
Deputy - Impostor can no longer get this role in meetings.
- Deputy becomes a role to the assigned person. In meetings they can activate the ability IF they choose to use it.

Scanner - scanning an impostor is more difficult. The impostor must do a QTE (quick time event) If you fail you get revealed if NOT you get proved innocent. (this setting can be turned on / off or be a chance to happen.Note the QTE isnt that hard but not easy either. )

Once you are scanner you have higher chances to form groups to protect you. (This has happened in some lobbies and is quite annoying as they can wait it out and scan the final people without letting the impostor win and making it EASIER than before.

Ok on one hand they were really cool an allowed the devs to make all sorts of crazy stuff but on the other hand it was kinda lame that 80% of development went to roles and maps that were only gonna be in the game for a month

I think that combining Lights Out and Containment into one permanent chaotic sabotage mode would be a cool way to utilize those LTEs (also just give us the Containment map)

I really do wonder if Innersloth is gonna do anything with 3D cuz they'd have to train a portion of their staff to learn 3D modelling and development and figure out the inner workings of the code just to even begin making slight updates and at that point that's a lot of resources going to what is probably in their eyes just a less profitable less played version of the base game

Question about the deputy. At first I thought the deputy was selected at the start of the match as a neutral player. It's not really clear, but after watching a video, it seems like the game randomly picks a crewmate each voting round. So the deputy isn't actually neutral to the imposters and crewmates, it's just a one vote crewmate? But that doesn't make any sense, because that would tell everyone the deputy is a crewmate.

So does the game pick a deputy from the beginning, or does it give it to a random crewmate?
