The idea is only to add an optional 18+ Free Chat, disabled by default ā€” so players who prefer voice chat can keep playing exactly the same way.

This would simply give more communication options for players who donā€™t feel comfortable using voice chat, without affecting anyone elseā€™s experience.

Some players in public lobbies donā€™t use voice chat for many reasons
language barriers, heavy accents, background noise, social anxiety, or simply not feeling comfortable speaking to strangers.

Text chat gives those players a way to participate strategically without pressure.

Itā€™s not about replacing voice chat ā€” itā€™s about giving people an alternative so they donā€™t feel excluded in public matches.

i have this head canon that among us and among us 3D/VR are in the same universe, just in different locations, my best example of this being Polus Point. Being in a location of polus more covered by rocks and mountains, and not having as deep of a lava pit, then we have among us polus, which is large and open, and has a security system. If they add mira, itā€™ll probably be on a different floor, if its airship, its a backup toppat airship, if its fungle, it takes place on another island.

I assume the role in DE will be like an X% chance to have a Deputy instead of a vote
