Hey campgrounds, it's me. I don't know how to start this yappathlon but I basically just want to thank you all for such an amazing 2023. If I'm being completely candid, you guys are such an extraordinary group of people.

I'm not great with expressing emotion in text without having to write a whole library, so excuse me if all of these words can be condensed into one or two sentences, but aren't. Here goes

Also I know only like 1 person will fully read this (me). I just want to express my feelings and gratitude towards you guys :D

I firstly want to jump back (a bit over a year ago) to December 2022.

I found this community through wanting to get an RBB item (the one you need a code for) out of all things. I don't remember if a stream got recommended to me, or if I specifically searched for it, but I somehow found one of Jackeryz' streams, and I don't regret a single thing about clicking on it.

If I remember, it was a trivia thing for the code, where jack asks a question and we go on one of two platforms as an answer. I lost instantly, but for some reason decided to join the discord (probably for more chances of getting the code). I only talked in the RBB channel, because I was too terrified to touch general, which now seems so funny to me. I think I started talking in general on the 25th or 26th?

That's 2022 over with, let's go to the year in review.

2023 :)
I won't go over any timeframe or talk as if it's some lore or story I'm putting together like I did for Dec2022, I just wanted to remind myself how it all began (as cliché as it sounds..). ANYWAY!

I just want to thank everyone in this server for such an amazing year. Whether it be people I met in January, or December. Whether it be people who no longer chat here, or those who chat here constantly.

You've all been so kind and welcoming, it feels like I've known some of you for years haha. It feels surreal to be let into and integrated into such a tight knit community, because this feels less like a Mr xxYoutubeMan420xx oriented server, and more like a friend group (WHICH IS GOOOD!!!) P.S; I don't care if that sounds sad or stupid, lol! Sure, it took some time to crack some of your guys' shells and befriend you, but it was completely worth it.

Also! The amount of talent in this community is absolutely astonishing. Most of you guys are so fucking good at what you do, it's crazy

To continue my rambling, I'd like to especially thank people who I'd call good friends. You probably know who you are, and if you don't, here's a hint: if you cared enough to read this far, you're probably one of them :3

Now I don't know what else to add, so I'll move onto thanking certain individuals I find significant from this community, IN NO PARTICULAR ORDER. (if you're not included, that's okay! I don't hate you! You're also very cool and awesomesauce!!! I just didn't think to add you because 3am brain and I feel really bad about that :( )

Firstly, I'd like to thank Pip for being there for me for most of this year (even if the past few weeks or months have been rocky). You've honestly helped me with so much and been such a great friend. I want to thank you for not only being such a good friend, but also being a great community member! I'm sure most people would say your name if asked to name the most recognizable people of this year. Good luck with 2024 and have no doubt you can count on us :D

Secondly, I'd like to thank Color. You're funny as shit dude, I mean it! Even if some people might call you an a-hole (you included >:V), I can guarantee you, you're a really kind person at heart and one of the coolest people here :D. I'd also like to say that the slander videos wouldn't be possible without you, especially the first one. You're the main guy behind them, after all. You came up with the idea and 99% of the captions in slander 1. Even that far into the year, it's safe so say I barely knew anyone at that point, and your captions actually helped me find out about people, and feel more comfortable talking to them. Not only this but you helped me just be more comfortable with myself in the server, even if it doesn't seem that way. So from the bottom of my heart, thank you Color, and have a great 2024 :D

Thirdly, I want to thank Mackenzie. Although we did kinda basically hate each other for most of the year. I'm really glad we were able to be friends without any ill will towards one another. And yes, you might be a 3 year old who thought buying Yeezy slippers was a good idea, but you're a cool 3 year old who thought buying Yeezys was a good idea! You're a great gamenight host also. (And you're polish which is kinda cool 🙄🙄). Oh and also words of encouragement: don't let people dig into your psyche and don't let people tell you what to do! Have an awesome 2024 and good luck with your quest on not becoming a child!!

Fourthly (yes, it's a real word) I'm going to thank MD Astrai! Wait. Fourthly, I'm going to thank MD Astral! Even though we've practically just became friends, I still want to thank you for being so awesome! You're really funny a great friend to have, honestly! And please don't be so negative on yourself going forward, you're honestly such a great person who's also a very talented individual. Have an amazing 2024 and I hope your input doesn't lag as much lol :D

Fifthly (also a real word) I'm thanking Epikiller/ Milk snatcher. You're a very funny Scotsman who also likes Hoi4 and Wolfenstein which is POGGERS lol. In all seriousness you're a very cool and funny person! Have a great 2024 :D

Sixthly (yes another real word) I'm gonna thank Roko for being a funny lad, a cool person overall and a good friend

Seventhly (he's still going????) I'd like to thank the people of the Markboners and CGCJ (slash CKCC). Although theyre groupchats, I'd still like to thank you all for being so awesome and cool :D Have a holly jolly 2024 !

Eightly (real word.) I'd like to thank harsh and marcie for being chill n that cuz heck yeah

Ninethly I'd like to thank iJackery and Lexi for this amazing community! Seriously it's amazing! Happppyyyy birthdayyyy! (New year!!)

Lastly, but not least..ly. I'd like to thank YOU (the reader) for being here and being awesome <3
