Just to clarify some things because it definitely is needed:

When the hell are you idiots finally releasing the Campgrounds Awards 2023 winners ceremony video?!? I promise it's being worked on, Kaswrey has volunteered to help make a fun video for the winner's ceremony and it will hopefully be released near the end of the year, keep in mind Kaswrey also has school and other stuff so he isn't able to just drop everything and only work on the video, we had a lot of delays prior to him volunteering to work on the video, as well as a lot of nominee's who I think still haven't even sent their submissions we asked for yet lol. In short, it will hopefully be released December 2024.

What about Campgrounds Awards 2025? Initially we wanted to rebrand and drop the "awards" part and just name it "The Campgrounds" and make it somewhat like a hub for the campgrounds community to play in and enjoy all year round, not just a voting contest that would be left to die in like a month. Regardless of all of that, Campgrounds 2025 is most likely NOT happening. What about the years after? probably NOT either. The project in my opinion is dead and won't be revived. It was fun gathering with amazing people from the community to make this for the community (from the community to the community type of thing) but everyone is busy with life/other projects and it seems like it's highly unlikely any of us have the passion to work on this again.

Why did you delay so much? I would like to take the full blame for this one. I legit thought of this idea in Dec. 2023 when I had like a uni final exam the day after and I thought to just make a goofy google doc with voting and call it a day, no game, nothing. But, the idea kept growing and some amazing developers jumped in on it and wanted to make it even bigger & more awesome. We had high hopes, but the most essential part is there was NO plan, I didn't have a fixed plan that we needed to stick to for this event to work, and when something is built on a weak foundation you know it will definitely fall to the ground sooner or later, which is exactly what happened. We all were also busy during this time with many other things (school, uni, exams, life changes, etc...) so we really didn't have a plan in place and it kinda got us doomed later on.

What about the winner's trophy UGC? Well in case you haven't heard the last few days, I was hacked, and someone stole the group funds. (Yes, the full 30k Robux we had from Rawblocky's 50k Robux donation) and I have gotten insanely depressed because of it, we even lost access of the group, and the game was under the group so we basically lost the entire thing. The whole thing is gone. So unfortunately we aren't gonna be able to make the trophy UGC nor fund it, and this even made us lose even more hope of continuing this event for later years.

While so many crazy & crappy stuff happened with insane delays, I am still so honored that we tried to do something to draw a small on your faces, I legit had to stay late at night thinking of more things to add to the lobby instead of studying for my uni finals lol, but hey I had fun doing it because I knew you guys would be happy to experience it with the community, which is the whole reason I made all of this, to connect with your friends and just have fun. Who knows if we are ever doing another event for the community like this, but I can assure you if we ever do it someday, it will be a 10/10 perfected project and it would have been worth the wait. For now, I am hoping you guys enjoy the Campgrounds Awards 2023 Ceremony video that Kaswrey will release at the end of the year, consider it a Campgrounds Christmas present!
