I advise that you watch Infinity War, Endgame, and the Guardians Christmas Special after watching I and II because there are some very significant precedents that occur in those media which drastically affect the state of the characters and their plotlines within Guardians III. In fact if you watch both avengers movies I suggest just (re)watching the entire MCU chronologically from Iron Man I for proper development of context and comprehension of the dynamics of the Guardians and/with other IPs and also maybe enjoyment out of the experiences which watching the first three phases provide
