How about an easy mode and of course maybe a co-op mode

Still great game but still haven't beaten the first lvl in half a year 😦

The game has had multiple updates in half a year that have made the game significantly easier.

You play runs, collect money and then upgrade your meta-progression to make runs easier permanently.

make sure your characters are set to auto-aim so you don't have to do anything and then... walk away from the enemies.. it's a very straightforward game.

I get that the game isn't easy but how have you not beaten it in a year? Huntress is actually OP. Tank is very strong, so is SWAT.

You run those three you will punch a hole in whatever god you believe in.

I don't actually care about adding easy mode or not it's just odd you've put THIS much time into the game and not made some basic synergies.

Hello, @dawn sinew! Be sure to let me know which elements are most troubling for you in the gameplay. Are you upgrading your team with the "Upgrades" option in the main menu? This should help a lot.

Our goal for the next update is to make the default difficulty more manageable while moving the tougher stuff into the new, unlockable difficulty ranks. The co-op is not planned at the current moment in time (#yazs-faq message).

Hiho.. of course I am upgrading.. mostly I play swat, tank and the electro guy

I think one time I went near 28 minutes and died.. I really like the feeling of the game and will keep trying.. it's just hard.. but i will try the huntress more 😛

What team would you suggest?

And a Co-op would still be nice

Thanks for your input. You could try one of the Swat/Tank/Engineer + Medic to see how it goes, but to each their own. I'm sure you'll get there eventually 🫡

Also, yeah, co-op would definitely be awesome. But... it takes an enormous amount of time & work to develop and polish, and we're a tiny team. As such we'd much rather focus on making an awesome game first, polish the single-player aspects, and see it through to full release, with more post-release support as well.

haven't beat the first level but has survived 28 minutes, then you've beaten the first level

30 minutes

# dawn sinew 30 minutes

30 minutes is for Endless, which is the second game mode of each stage. If you've unlocked Endless for the Isolated City (the first zone), then you've beat the first level.

Try the other zones. I personally found it easier to beat the default game mode of later zones than it was to beat the Endless mode.

Also, have you unlocked the tier 2 and 3 for the different survivors? Those make a huge difference. I didn't start feeling like I was pushing back against the tide until I had tier 2 for everyone on my team.

Yeah but I have no other areas.. not sure if I have already unlocked all chars. Got S.W.A.T., Tank, Electroman, Medic, Archerlady, Pyro and Phantom I think.. I will it give a better look later.

I think there's some confusion. Your first post asks for an easy mode and says you haven't beaten the first level in half a year:

If you have no areas, you've beaten the first level. If you can play to 28 minutes, you've beaten the first level. And if you're asking for an easier mode than Endless (which is the only one which allows you to go longer than 20 minutes), the solution is for you to play the default game mode. Or Extermination, which is even easier than the default, imo.

You don't need an easy mode, you just need to play the easier modes which are already available to you.

If you're bummed because you can't beat the Endless Mode of Isolated City, then that's different. It's also quite possibly the hardest game mode -- or at least the most likely to be difficult and to require a good working knowledge and strategy. The others are less punishing of mistakes.
