#Securing Decor to your Tank

NTA Personally small things that my gecko can move around like moss or small sticks I just leave loose and think of it as a form of enrichment for her.
As for rocks you always want to think of 3 points of contact, make sure they are sitting securely in your tank and don't wobble when you touch them . Or you can bury them with substrate.
When changing out substrate I use that as a opportunity to change up my geckos decor, I find she gets a lot more active when I move things around and it gives her some mental stimulation! If you are securing things to your vivarium walls like bigger sticks or cockbark people tend to use 100% silicone
How do you change the substrate when something is sealed?
what do you mean? like sealed to the vivarium floor?
when changing substrate I scoop as much as I can with a dustpan and brush, then vacuum the rest out. If you have something sealed to the floor you can't take out you would have to work around it
I wouldn't really suggest doing that tho as its good to be able to take everything out in case of emergencies or a deep clean
So what should you seal it to?
Other things that aren’t sealed?
Im sorry once again Im NTA, I dont really understand what you mean by sealing. Do you want to glue two pieces of decor together? Or to the tank?
Like if I get a big stick, how and what should I seal it to?
You don't necessarily have to seal it to anything. Just ensure it wont topple over onto you gecko when putting it into your setup! That way you will be able to remove it during cleanings
What if it does wobble?
