Nta so, i would suggest replacing the duel dome lamp as they are typically very unsafe! You want a single dome for heating, and separate light fixture for a uvb however uvb is very difficult to use in a 20 gal
How long is temporary exactly? Until you can get a 40gallon? Leos don't need grow out tanks.
As for upgrades, i would definitely add more clutter like cork bark rounds and cork flats, as well as sticks and fake plants to provide over head coverage.

Nta that isn't terrible, it can technically be done its just not recommended but as long as you do plan to upgrade and acknowledge the needs it is okay temporarily.

Nta as long ad it doesn't like bleed dye or have stuff fall off it i don't see why you wouldn't be able to use it!
You can kinda place it up against something maybe to mimic a log?

Here is the setup now, he’s exploring it but after about 5 mins he goes back to his hot hide
I mounted this slate thing on top of some bark and a log hide
And put the green log there
