Was there another animal in the room? Or anything in front of the tank
Nope nothing at all
No pets no tv. I've posted before and people were saying she wanted out but idk. Was just able to get it up vlose
Oh it’s this little one who was glass surfing the other day.
In this video it looks like she’s seeing something very specific and reacting
Since she’s not paying attention to you at all and such
I wouldn’t necessarily say personally that it’s an indication that she wants out. Since she’s doing it again what is your husbandry like? (Temps, humidity, lights you’re using, etc)
The cool side I can't get to drop below 80 and the warm side sits around 90. With winter I cannot get the humidity to go above 20% on either side. No matter what I do though, she does have a humid hide. She has a UVB linear and a dome lamp on one side. There is extra clutter now that it has come in so she's some more cover.
You know what uvb it is?
I believe this one which I was told by multiple groups that I'm in that it was one of the safe ones that was good for her
it is in fact one of the uvbs we recommend but the recommendations we make are also based on tank height and mesh blockage
if your tank is the exoterra 36x18x18, it's a little strong. you can elevate it off the mesh a little with a riser or something
Do you have any recommendations on how to do so? All the other groups I'm in told me it's perfect but I don't wanna burn her ofc!
It is a standard 40 gal breeder so those measurements sound Abt right!
But she is usually in a hide all day every day until lights out idk if that makes a difference
Yee the one downside is most groups don’t actually consider mesh differences and uvi output.
They just say the same stuff and recommend bulbs without really considering every tank has a different blockage
Hmm okay! Mine has a mesh top. How can I lift it better?
Some people 3d print raisers but you can also just use books on each end and stuff :0
