@quick fiber His BMs have been inconsistent and dont seem to be moving adequately
I have been making sure the temp is up and consistent
I would consider other methods
Nta have you tried hornworms? Their high and moisture and would be a good way to get some water in him!
Have you been gutloading His feeders?
@quick fiber I have never fed him hornworms and id rather not try him on a new food item foe this
Yes my feeders are highly juiced up
Please ping
Nta well, Then i believe a drop of oil on the lil nose can help. I've heard the TAs talk about it before however i do not remember the exact kind.
Is there a specific reason you don't wanna feed a new bug? You don't have to feed them to him permanently, they could be a treat and besides its generally recommended to rotate feeders anyway ❤️ nta
If he is backed up, I don't want to overload his system
Additionally we are facing a winter storm this week and I don't want him to risk having more issues
The oil drop to the nose might be the best route then! However if you all lose power and he loses heat regardless it can slow him down even if you get the little one going that includes a bath method.
I would wait for a TA who id familiar with the type of oil used to respond! As like i mentioned i do not remember the exact kind nta ❤️
Unhelpful
@robust sinew @noble trout you guys are the two i can think of that have knowledge on this topic.
Mineral oil or olive oil can be used, but I always caution people on using any oil on the nose or squirted in the mouth, as inhaled oil can cause pneumonia
