How long does it take for a gecko to come back around from overhanging stress?

I finally stopped the meds on the 27th of Sep and he still wont eat. I read around like.. 2 weeks or so theyd stsrt to eat but obv watch out for other signs. Thankfully I haven't seen any other signs like lethargy or rapidly loosing weight.

But hes already gone a while without it. Its abt to be a month next week. Today actively rejecting food when offered. Only handled him once to weight him @ 110g to make sure he isnt plummeting fast. The one before that was 2weeks ago @ 115g before using the toilet.

Ive tried Mealworms, Roaches and currently trying to find other feeders to give likr silk worms or horned worms. But He's actively rejecting food. No interest whatsoever.

Yet every time I peek inside He's Alert and bright. Not sluggish or even low to the ground, unless is like day. But at night he does well. Good survival instincts. [Other than not.. eating.]

My doc said to force feed him if im too concerned, but keep trying to offer. But I feel like force feeding woldnt thst make it take longer? Its like stress all over again.

NQA So sorry to only have more questions but in the spirit of ruling things out--

what methods have you tried for feeding? Asking bc maybe he isnt vibing with tongs but leaving the bugs in an escape-proof bowl may make him more comfortable

Also have you tried both dusted and undusted to rule out him not liking the taste of whatever supplement brands you use?

And finally id personally try out at least 1 other feeder before panicking too much, or even dousing his food in some canned silkworm juices to entice him with the smell. Thats just me being someone who believes the whole "2 is a coincidence but 3 is a pattern" kinda thing. I wanna say losing 10% of body weight in a short timeframe is where it gets more concerning while he's not quite lost 5%NQA

He's always eaten the dust I add on it, ive tried both dusted and undusted nonetheless. I can try and make a scape proof bowl, due to the situation yet before unless he saw them moving he wouldnt get them if theyre just sitting around, ill go to the store to try and get the silkworm juices and maybe some silk worms, yet in the past ive tried feeding him [when he ate properly] silk worms and he only ate it once before denying it the next time. Ill try some crickets next that used to be something he'd gladly ate, but they arent open Saturday or sunday
