Okay guys, one more question before I get started working on the bio active enclosure…
I am going to begin to mix the substrate,
The isopod container that I will be moving the isopods from has loads of springtails, and I want to use them in the bioactive enclosure.
Would it be okay to move over that substrate and mix it into the substrate that’s going into the bioactive enclosure? The isopod container substrate does unfortunately have a mix of coco peat in the Scott’s topsoil.
The mix in the isopod container is probably 35-40% coco peat and 60-65% organic soil.
I’m hoping it will be okay because once mixed into the substrate that’s going into the bio active enclosure, the amount of the mix that the coco peat takes up will be minimal.
