Hii, some days ago I took my geckos humid hide out to change the moss. I noticed that afterwards she wouldn’t wander around the tank as much. Because of taking it out some other things were also moved around by a cm maybe, is it possible that that makes her stressed?

She also has uvb since the day I changed her humid hide. I noticed she’s less active after both those changes in general. I’m a bit sad because it took her very long to start eating when I got her, I’m kind of scared I’m gonna have to start all over again with
I feed her on Sunday and Wednesday but she didn’t take any of the bugs I offered today. She did take a Dubai on Friday, I wanted to see if she would eat them since she never had em before
Oh and I also am pretty sure she shed last night! Can it be that she’s might not as hungry because of that?

Yeah I’ve heard of that before, maybe that’s the case
I’ll try again tomorrow and see if she’s hungry, if not I’ll wait until Wednesday so that I’ll keep her on her schedule

thats fine then! adults only really need to eat once or twice a week and if weight is being maintained then the whole stress food strike is fine. youll just need to wait for her to adjust
