Hello! What a little cutie you have! I’m not a TA but can go over what I’ve been taught from the lovely Leo team here!

Starting with !guide
It’s a beautiful first stop on your journey of gecko ownership.

Other thing I can see right away is your substrate. Leo’s need to be quarantined for 2-3 months on arrival. That means paper towels for bedding for now to make sure what goes in is coming back out(one of the reasons).

The other is your hide situation. The hides I’m seeing aren’t true hides as they have more than one opening. !hides

Leo’s also like to hide, it’s natural for them. Especially in a new environment! I’ve had my little one for 16 months and her favorite spot is still “where you can’t see her”. Leo tanks are designed with that in mind. You can see some amazing natural ones in #enclosure-inspo!

What size tank do you have for your little one? And how much do they weigh? They need to be at least 20 grams to sex reliably. If they are under that you can definitely still share a pic of their underside (best done with them in a clear bottomed container) and we and see if we see balls

She is under that and the tank is 40 gallons one bigger I’m going to get a bigger tank and the person I got her from sent me a picture of her holding her and the whole underneath is in it but not sure if it’s ther best picture

Pet stores try their best but it’s so hard to find people that know what they are doing.
I know what I’ve been taught here and that’s what I’m sharing. A TA might say something different but if I had to bet money I’d say it’s a male
