I saw y'all talking in general or leopard gecko chat about having 75 watt bulbs. I realized mine is only 5 watts. I'm gonna run back to the reptile room today, should I pick up a higher watt bulb?

so in general you dont want to use coil bulbs like this :)

what brand/size tank do you have? the type of (linear) uvb your tank will need is dependant on the mesh the lid uses as well as the distance from the basking spot

in that case it would likely be better to hold off on uvb until you can get a properly sized tank, because the type of bulb you need will likely change

worth a shot! you can tell them to look for used tanks too, youd have to clean them properly (with something like this https://www.amazon.com/F10-Veterinary-Disinfectant-1-Liter-Ready/dp/B0168Y6P2I) but itll save a lot of money normally regardless!
