#Hatchling growth rate

if the birth date was actually end of november, she would absolutely not still be this small.
i received a leo in store at about 7g on jan 21st this year. on march 10th he weighed in at 18g
grow rates are different amongst leos individually but as long as you provide the amount of food they require and they eat as they like and are gaining weight (albeit slowly), it should be fine
i keep leos as young as that weighed weekly and keep a dish of mealworms in the enclosure at all times
at the beginning of each day i count how many have been eaten
She doesn't seem to like mealworms. I'll put a dish in but doubt it will work.
She eats off tweezers only so we feed her by hand. She eats well, usually 6 small crickets or aboud 10 medium red runner roaches. She occasionally eats mealworms when offered, but rarely seems to like it.
if shes familiar with tong feeding then you just offer as much as she wants in 15 minutes
i just use bowls for super young leos because theyre often too skittish to eat off tongs
Also might be worth mentioning that the breeder only fed every second day, we feed her daily and she sonly skipped two days where she wasn't interested
