freak is gone. help

my leo has seemingly evaporated… not in any of her hides or under any leaf litter or climbing. i don’t see anything like a burrow in her substrate. must find the freak :(( enclosure photos included

top, the gap with my finger to try and show the size, and the only spot she could possibly reach the lid from

i assume she would’ve climbed onto the thermometer then around the cage lid till she found the top, but i’m not sure if leo’s even have the strength for that

i’ve only had her for a couple weeks now and she’s been mostly chill, just moving from one hide to another, cryptic basking, eating, etc. the only time she bothered climbing on the thermometer was when i first added all the new crap to her cage (a week or so ago)

OH yeah the log you have circled was in a different position 20 minutes ago. i moved it to see if she was behind

the rock it’s resting on also got moved but i didn’t fully take it out of the tank or flip it over, just looked to see if she was in the substrate under the skull hide. i have a suspicion she was clinging onto the hides side and i missed her

somewhat. i took all the leaves, cork bark, basking rock, and sticks out, then i looked in her rock hide, shark hide, humid hide, and stuck my flashlight in her log hide. i even moved her water bowl in case she managed to get under there somehow

the only things i didn’t move were buried or too small for her to be hidden under

just gently start removing large decor and triple checking them for Freak. take deep breaths, if she doesn't pop up check again at night to see if she is in her usual hides.
