Nqa but no lol, The tank needs to be completely dark at night :3 sun goes down = no more uvb! Just because she isn't coming out to where you can see her doesn't mean she's not cryptic basking or getting benefits from the uvb
She's literally underneath her humid hide almost all day 24/7, unless I take her out.
Not exactly sure how she would be getting UVB if she's covered up 24/7, I mean I do see her coming out sometimes at light when the light is on, but she prefers to come out after I turn the lights off and then she will soak up the excess heat from whatever the lights on like her rock.
I'm guessing it's probably the time of year though maybe she's hiding because it's winter out.
I mean I'm not upstairs 24/7 in my room, so maybe I'm just not seeing her come out?
She does switch locations though I know she does that! She isn't under that one specific hide all the time.
Again, she could be cryptic basking. Their crepuscular(?) And won't be out in broad daylight 24/7 lol but when its ligjts out, it is lights out. Nqa
Sometimes I'll see her huddled up in the corner, not directly underneath the light but like in the corner where it's probably still warm is that cryptic basking?
it can be yes lol
OH
Their pretty elusive little guys, your not gonna see them all the time if at all
I literally like, never see my girl lemon. Only once in a blue moon
That's true!!
I'll check her usual hides, and sometimes she likes to be in her hide in her coconut at night.
He was underneath her log last night, and her tail and head were sticking out but her middle wasn't.
Yeah sounds like she cryptic basks lol
Light was off though, how is thar basking?
I thought basking was when the light was on.
Yeah it is, But if it's still warm from the light being on she's probably enjoying it. My girls lay on their warm spot with the lights are off lol. Nqa
Again, they wont constantly bask. They know how to take care of themselves, when they need to bask they will, When they wanna be in the light they will be.
Even if you don't think your leo is benefiting from Uvb she is and its required regardless
