#Adopting an unexpected leopard gecko, help!

I work at a major pet store chain, and a customer came in and said they want to surrender their leopard gecko. I offered to take him in, since he would have a better life with someone who actually cares about him. The customer is also giving up their 40gal setup as well.

The gecko is 1y 9m old, ~7in long, and seems to be in good health. Unfortunately, the person is cohabbing it with a scorpion (who I will not be taking in), and two cuban anoles (species unknown).

  1. Can I continue cohabitating all three reptiles? The anoles seem to be quite small and are fully grown according to the owner.
  2. What’s a good diet and feeding schedule for a gecko of this age?
  3. What are some lesser-known health problems I should be looking out for?

And finally, if anyone can recommend good care guides and resources, it would be greatly appreciated. I am doing my own research, of course. This gecko will not be my first reptile, I own several others and help out with my roommate’s pets as well. I don’t like being this impulsive, but this gecko would have a far worse life in a pet store enclosure.

Apologies for the poor picture, it was taken from a video the owner sent me. Could anyone identify the morph for me?
