Im ordering some foods from rainbow mealworms. What size dubia should i feed a 5 month leo? they only have small dubia in stock but have all sizes of discoid roaches. Red runners look like they would infest if they got loose so im not getting them. And ill probably get crickets as well but hes losing interest in tong feeding and likes to snag them from in his tray while moving because hes an accurate hunter and never misses a worm which i dont think is a good way to feed crickets and i dont want to leave any loose in his enclosure. Hes been on only meal worms until now since thats what the breeder was feeding and hes used to. Advice would be appreciated.

You can feed him small dubias! Nqa
Also for the crickets, you can take off their legs so they won’t jump before feeding nqa
Ok i didnt know if the small ones were to small. And so id just pull the legs off and put them in the dish so they cant jump out?
dubias dont need leg removal
they cant get out of feeder dishes
crickets are the only ones that need leg removal besides locusts
Crickets are what i was talking about with removing legs. What size crickets would you recomend? there are so many sizes on the site.
by 5 months i already feed 4-5weeks
those are a size or 2 down from the largest ones i think?
Ok thank you im going to be placing an order today with faster shipping so i get them early this week.
Medium mealworms, small dubia and 4 wee crickets
5 week is the largest they have so im thinking 4 or 3 should be good.
Are there feeders that would be a better choice than crickets? are should those be part of the rotation
Have you tried phoenix worms? they are supposed to have high calcium content and dont need dusting
