#Do tank wall liners help insulate? Also does the wall liner help with making them more comfortable?

If it's a thin liner or a piece of paper, it likely won't insulate glass very much but could help with appearance. Something that might work better for you is getting a 3D background on all sides, or cluttering the enclosure with more hiding spots to help insulate and provide more security visually.
If you are in North America, Petsmart sells 3D foam backgrounds for relatively cheap that can line the enclosure sides. They would help with insulation
i think cork panels could help isolate a bit heat as well :) i didn’t try it out yet but my friends told me its good

So just having clutter helps keep heat? Idk why I didn't think of that lol
But the clear glass doesn't cause any anxiety for geckos then? Cause that's what I'm working on trying to do is get her more comfortable aside from clutter
I definitely need more tho lol
Depends on the gecko, some feel more comfortable when they can see what's going on around them (since blocked off sides can limit their field of view and startle them). It's individual, so I'd see how your gecko behaves. It's not a must to block the sides though.
And yes more clutter (and substrate) in my experience helps to trap heat
is it recoomended to use plastic or can I use real plants?
for a new leo in quarantine you would use fake plants. real plants can be added if theyre leo safe and after theyve been quarantined
do I quarantine even if shes not sick?
and how do you care for real plants without watering them? cause Im only worried about too much humidity
yes. every new animal requires a quarantine period for the safety of other animals in the vicinity, and to monitor for behaviour and bowel movements
i believe most plants listed safe for leos on our list dont require a ton of humidity and water. but even after deep watering plants, a temporary humidity spike is normal and safe for leos
their range is 30-55% but it can reach 70% during rainy seasons in the wild
what about an existing leo? im just upgrading her tank and shes super healthy
oh, no quarantine needed then lol
ok sick
i thought she was new
your plants still require quarantine though, those can carry pests
do you quarintne plants like you would a leo?
no, you wash its soil off and plant in the substrate youre using for your leo, then set it aside for a month or so to make sure there arent any pests before planting them in the tank
oh ok so I can just put it in a sepreate tank to quarantine
yeah
