My new leopard gecko isnt eating everyday, I tried feeding it daily however it only seem to eat 3 times per week, am I doing anything wrong or is there any problem with my gecko? I really need suggestion or any insight on what's going on. I feed her mealworms dusted with calcium, I doesn't really have alternative option for now, I'll hopefully get a more diverse meal for her soon but i really want to know why she isn't eating much since most newborn leopard gecko eat daily

When did you get her?
Can you send a pic of your enclosure setup as well
That sub needs to be changed to paper towels so she can be quarantined for 2-3 months. Also gonna drop the !guide so you can give that a read
november 17 if im not wrong
Ah okay
I havent got her to a proper tank yet, could that be a problem? i can't find a proper tank
She’s new and still settling in, it takes a while for some new reptiles to eat once they’ve been moved, just give her a little time.
its still a very tight space with only one hide and a water bowl
I'vebeen trying to look for a bigger one
but I can't find a suitable one
Oh ok a bin enclosure?
this is the one i got for the keeper
Those are fine to use temporarily but it is small yeah, the only I suggest is changing the sub to paper towels
the keeper suggest me to not put it in the fish tank that I got now
oh alright
do the sub need to be wet as well?
or can i leave it dry
And paper towels can be dry
subtrate?
What size tank do you have right now.
Paper towels= substrate
@silent cobalt
Not the bin but the fishtank.
i havent measured it, its about 2-3m wide
Can you measure it for me
Because if it’s big enough. The animal needs to go into a proper tank. That bin isn’t even big enough.
oh its about 90cm wide and 40.6cm deep
Okay so you have about thriving minimum
is it okay if i let it settle there?
i do have quite some pebbles in there
Got a pic of the tank?
I'll try getting one
the keeper that provide me the gecko doesn't suggest me putting my gecko inside yet however
Just take the pebbles out, clean the tank really well and such and it can be used for the gecko.
Babies do not need grow outs and thriving minimum for any age is 90x45x45
oh i see
Your gecko looks older than hatchling so it should be fine.
oh okay thanks
Take a look at the server care guide you were linked above!
alright thanks for the help
We also have a shopping list with a few different countries on it and a checklist that has everything needed for a proper setup
!shoppinglist
should i still put the paper towel?
Yes
alright noted thanks
Quarantine and such is covered in the careguide so it’ll mention it there :3
tyyyy
my country isnt really listed on the list, so is it okay if i buy it off of shoppe?
or is there any better website for these?
If it has all you need / similar products from our list yeh that’s fine
alright thanks
Can you screenshot it
For some reason I can’t see it
Oh yes that’s fine to use nqa
Start with 75 or 50 watts and make any changes to the bulb if needed nqa
these r okey :) cuz they r on the list
