It shouldn't take 3 hours to eat nqa
I think a good amount of people do however much they can eat in 10-15 minutes
And there should be feeder variations
Nah she isnt at her bowl for 3 hours its just she usually wanders around her tank tries to climb, fails miserably and then decides to go eat, it only takes her about 15 mins to eat
I know that, its not about how much too feed her its just more can I leave them in a bowl overnight
I rotate between 3 however i mostly feed mealworms as i breed them and the others i just buy from the pet shop and keep, i feed mealworms, crickets and dubias
she seems to eat more worms tho and have a bigger appetite for them, thats what she was fed before i got her aswell so thats probably why
Yeah maybe
I would just stick to putting whatever she can eat in 15 minutes in and watching
Nqa
Alright
also
Ive got a thermometer with a probe on her basking spot but also have a govee to measure air temps i just wanna make sure. where should i have the govee one should it be on the warm side cool side or in the middle?

I know the govee one im using is good as alot of ppl here use it including QAs like i believe peachy just wanna make sure i have it in the right spot
Mealworms can be left overnight if it works for her, they don't bite hard enough to hurt a gecko in my experience
Cool! thanks how about dubias and crickets?
Govee should go around where your stat probe is
Crickets can't be left unattended, and dubias usually don't work in a bowl as they either escape or don't move so the gecko doesn't see them
Ok i wont leave the crickets, dubias seem to work for me i just rip a few legs off haha but ill try tong feed them aswell if she decides she wants to eat from tongs
Alright cool ill just put it on her warm side by her basking spot
LMAO yeah if it works it works ig
Yeah haha ive got a bowl with a lip aswell so they cant really get out aslong as i close it properly so that i dont leave any holes for them to get out from
its from exo terra i belive
called mealworm feeding dish or something
Tbh I just use Gu pots hahaha
Works well for mealies but not dubias
And so cheap and easy to clean
Yeah fair enough haha
When i first got my gecko i got a 2 pack of bowls, plan was to have 1 for water and 1 for food then they arrived..... and i realised straight away that a live insect is getting out of that so easily LMAOO
Right?! So many of those bowls are terrible.
My gu pots might not be the BEST but they're like 12 for a quid second hand and for that they have my loyalty lol
haha fairs if it works it works especially if u can save money on it too
off topic but ive just seen a tiktok and its making me want to do bad things
