My gekko had her egg this morning but it smells so bad, and its probably infertile or something. But how can i tell?

you can candle them but regardless if it's infertile or not it should be culled by freezing it. That is the ethical thing to do in this instance since it was from a cohabbing pets situation and it was not ethically produced.

there is ethics and proper information someone should follow when breeding animals and in this situation none of that was followed / or known.

incubating an egg from pet only leopard geckos that were cohabbed is unethical because they shouldn't have been bred in the first place or put in a situation where they could breed.

It looks like it’s rotten although I’m not a gecko egg expert. But the odor is usually a tip-off as well lol

How long do they need to sit in the freezer for? I put it in this morning at like 10
