#What’s the best way to surrender or give away a Leo that would be safe and humane.

I know how bad petco is with animals. They offered to take him back but I don’t trust it.

I’m giving him away because well I’m giving everything away. I won’t go into detail why but I want to by this weekend. My Leo was my reason. My source of happiness for the longest and is my emotional support.

I don’t want to leave him in the hands of some place that will cohabit him with other Leo’s and have bad conditions like petco.

But I don’t know how to give him away online (not selling just giving to a trusted source for free). I heard you can’t do that online.

What websites can I use? Do I need a permit to gift him to someone? Any advice by tonight helps. Thank you

You can look at rehoming groups near you for reptiles on Facebook! Can also post to places like Craigslist and such :0

You can also post an ad in #promotion

Would it be like you drive out to give him? I don’t want to put him in a shipping box and mail him incase he gets stressed and detaches his tail or something. And if I just leave him in my tank ownerless my brother (has a Leo too) will most likely cohabit him.

Have you ever bought or sold one? Was it drive to meet up or do they ship them in a box? (I’ve seen a Leo mailed in a cup like thing before)

I have bought 4 geckos and have had them all shipped to me but if you want to do local pickup that’s totally an option.
