hi !
so, ive discovered that tofu is one of the light sensitive albinos, and i think the light is preventing her from basking.
i want to get a dimming thermostat but i was wondering if that would work with my regular on/off heat lamp? this is what im thinking of getting.
or, would there be a better bulb to get her? she rarely comes out of her hot hide, occasionally peeks out, squints, then goes back inside. she readily comes out the second i turn the light off and becomes much more active.

for my light sensitive albino i use a floodlight (w/ no dimmer, he openly basks but you can def still use a dimmer for your albino!)

she could definitely use more, im just not sure how to create more shaded areas. this is what it's looking like so far

i'd look into bulk corkbark and such! possibly switching the basking spot to like some flatter flagstone pieces you can stack and such to create little cubby holes and things she can cryptic bask from without having to be fully out in it!

got it, thank you so much! im making a petsmart trip tonight to look for a true cool hide bc her current cool hide has like 3 entrances 😭 also, does her waterbowl need to be huge? it currently takes up a ton of space in the upper left corner and is pretty deep (so im afraid it's causing a spike in humidity oops)

try isopropyl alcohol and see if that gets it off.
