So today i came back from college to find that my leopard gecko duber escaped his enclosure, i tried to find it everywhere, then my mom told me that she eard sound coming from under my desk, we recently put some traps because a rodent was roaming the house and i thought the worst happened, and i was right, he was indeed stuck in a glue rodent trap, i searched online how to unstuck a critter from those traps because i was panicking, i found out that olive oil helped dissolve the gule to get him out, i carefully used cotton and q tips to soak the places he was stuck, avoiding it going into the mouth and the ears, and i got im out!! Now im cleaning him with paper towels from the oil i used, im planning to make an appointment with a vet just to check if theres something else, as of right now i moved him to his old enclosure because the other one has the dirt and taking it out would tale time, hes now with a hide and paper towels just in case and im planning to switch him back into the bigger enclosure once i cleaned it from all of the dirt, the poor little guy was tired after struggling for hours so he’s resting, i just wanted to know if i have to take more precautions until we get a vet appointment

Make sure its a certifed exotic vet.
Make sure he has heat and hides.
How did he get out of his tank?
It was my fault, after feeding him i thought i closed the glass before going to bed, but because i was very tired it was open enough for him to leave
Yeah the one he is in right now its just in the meantime i get the dirt out of his big enclosure and putting paper towels
I would call and maybe stress this is kinda of a emergency.
