I have seen that Leo’s should be soaking in water occasionally but is this only when they look like they are about to shed? Or should this be something that is part of our weekly/ biweekly schedule?

leopard geckos do not soak.

the only time you would do something even remotely similar is if there was stuck shed and you would be providing a sauna not a bath or soak in that instance. but otherwise you should be providing a humid hide that you mist and keep humid.

leopard geckos are hydrophobic so there is no reason for them to be soaking / having a bath lmfao

okay i will stop taking advice from that person who told me! I have a humid hide that he likes!! I have never given him a bath so I’m happy I asked first

To clarify on the sauna thing, it shouldn't be too deep either, just a bit up from their foot nqa

I like the method the sauna graphic suggests which is lining the sauna with paper towels and spraying them with warm (not hot) water instead of putting the gecko directly into the water 😮
