Hes been hiding a lot lately, he was in his moist hide for around 2 days and he was that cold he just splooted on my hand immediately, maybe im overthinking but he rejected food today (he ate 2 days ago though) im thinking hes a bit more lethargic due to being cold but im not too sure
#Does he look okay?

He was most likely just comfy 🥹 these animals know how to thermoregulate themselves and know their bodies far better then we do.
They’re also always gonna feel cold to you
They’re cold blooded / Ecotherms so they don’t radiate heat like we do. We’re also naturally 98.6 f which is in their basking range.
2 days of sitting in their humid hide isn’t something to worry about though
Most of our geckos spend 90% of their time in a hide of their choice.
Also If he’s a year or close to a year he may just not be hungry. Adults only need to eat 1-2 times a week
Hes around 4-5 months old id say, He might just not be hungry, but my mind does rush into 1000 things whenever i see even the slightest bit of change i put him back in and hes basking now. Does winter have anything to do with a change in their behaviour?
Winter pressure changes can have an affect on gecko behavior yes
If it makes you feel any better. My aft I have no see for over a week now but she’s fine and dandy in her hot hide.
Yeah that does make me feel like this is all normal ahaha thank you, hes my first gecko so obviously i just wanna do right
It can be nerve wracking with your first reptile! Just trust the little guys to know what to do for their own body
