its happening again.

bex has a basking spot readily available (this time its correct). thermostat is set to 100F and it reaches 97F on the slate during the day. she only comes out after lights off to use it though

i assumed she'd be fine self regulating but she hasnt pooped in a while. shes probably had 2-3 meals since her last poop, on top of her shed.

Did you end up going to the vet, and if so, when? I've had a new leopard gecko for a week and a half now who has eaten twice, but he hasn't pooped either. May post a new thread but several similar ones have gone unanswered

if theyve gone a while without pooping but still eating, you can try a drop of olive oil on the nose for them to lick

should I still attempt to feed or wait for the first poop?

nqa you can wait a bit for the first poop. they only need to eat once or twice a week anyway

I know it was your original question in this post, but at what point should I see a vet? Should I try a warm soak first?

#

The hard part for me is that I know doing these things causes stress, and stress causes behavioral changes, and behavioral changes cause me to worry and so on and so on

Update: gave him a warm soak for about 15 minutes

#

He was not happy but from his behavior I can at least tell he's not lethargic or anything

#

Also got a good look at his vent/belly and couldn't see anything unusual
