Hi guys, so ever since I got my leo I have been dusting his crickets with calcium with d3 in it, however I have seen many many people pour the calcium into a bottle cap and leaving it in their vivariums. I was wondering if it would be better/more efficient to just do that rather then dusting the crickets. My heat bulb doesn’t emit UVB, hence the calcium&d3 powder. Just want to make sure as I’m scared he can overdose on the d3 lol.

nqa he still needs his feeders dusted even if you leave a cap in the terrarium. generally its for self supplementation if they're not getting what they need from feedings, or if they're not eating at all.
but the calcium you leave in the tank should be without d3 regardless of uvb
The dusting schedule still recommends D3 just more sparingly
