I wanted to order the deli cups but my move was short notice, they weren’t delivering in time. I’ve made this makeshift container and drilled holes in the top for air flow. Is this sufficient size? I already have a bigger box he will be in with insulation.
The drive is 11-15 hours

Yea that makes sense. And I think you may want to moisten the paper towels? Idk if you'll be opening the container to offer water but I assume that's what the breeder did for Mochi, sprayed the container for water

i would have one side of the paper towel slightly damp for water and stuff
but not the whole towell

And he’s got enough room to turn around in there, so it’s perfect
I wouldn’t spray with water tho ? Especially if they’re gonna be in there for a good chunk of time
The humidity will be way too high
