I wanted to order the deli cups but my move was short notice, they weren’t delivering in time. I’ve made this makeshift container and drilled holes in the top for air flow. Is this sufficient size? I already have a bigger box he will be in with insulation.
#Is this container okay for moving?

Do NOT quote me on this but I'm going to say yes. My guy came in a smaller box and he was in there for about 12 hours? With ventilation and warmth it should be okay.
But I'd wait for a QA to respond - ik peachy is in the process in moving

Yeah I got most of my tips from her!
I appreciate it, I know it shouldn’t be too big so they don’t hurt themselves
Yea mine came in a container just a little shorter then he was and thinner
It was a rectangle basically
Okay awesome!
Yea that makes sense. And I think you may want to moisten the paper towels? Idk if you'll be opening the container to offer water but I assume that's what the breeder did for Mochi, sprayed the container for water
Okay I’ll do that beforehand then I wasn’t too sure if I should
Actually I’m not sure now, I’ve had people telling me that misting can stress them out
yes
i would have one side of the paper towel slightly damp for water and stuff
but not the whole towell
because of humidity
its a tight soace
Plus I’d rather wait for a <@&443773497429196810> to reply
Ya it’s fine
Smaller is better, less sliding around
And he’s got enough room to turn around in there, so it’s perfect
I wouldn’t spray with water tho ? Especially if they’re gonna be in there for a good chunk of time
The humidity will be way too high
They’ll be fine for a bit without water, they’re arid creatures after all
yeah thats what i was sayin
That’s what I figured! Thank you
Like I said, don't quote me haha
Yeah you were mentioning to spray a little but I figured I shouldn’t 😭
Idk. When my guy arrived his paper towel was slightly damp
stress pee
nqa
Their pee is... solid
I’ve heard both before
Could’ve just been the elements!
stress pee can be liquid
i dont know the science behind it
but some pee can be liquid
I moved w my Leo too and the power went off at like 3am, so he was w out heat for like 4 hours and THEN another 8 hours of moving
