Hi guys, looking for some advice. After a couple weeks I expected to see my Gecko use more of his tank, however he never comes out of his hot hide unless we drop live crickets for hunting. His hot hide is a fake rock hide that I was hoping he would use the roof to bask but doesn't. Looking to see if anyone has ideas. Basking side temp is 91f and cool side stays around 72 - 67f.
#My Leopard Gecko won't leave hot hide.

NA how do you know he never comes out if you don’t mind me asking, do you have a cam? You might be missing it. My fiancés baby zeroni comes out so rarely my family jokes she doesn’t exist but she definitely be pooping up by her asking area
What are you using for heating?
Also newer geckos tend to be pretty shy the first few weeks or so. And as mentioned above are you sure that he's not leaving his hide whatsoever he might be using the rest of the enclosure at night or when your not there.
Im using a 90W Heat Projector. I put a camera up to monitor activity and he didn't leave it thu the night.
Yes I have a cam up and been watching the last 3 days and still nothing. Getting worried for the little fella
