Hello, i’ve got a new gecko. it’s been 13 days she came to me and i’ve never saw her eating. i know she drinks water but when i trying to feed her, she acting like she is blind. i mean she is not interested with the food. I know she was eating her food before i got her. There is a heating pad in her terrarium, but also i never saw her on this area which is hot. What should i do? Thanks.

could you post an enclosure photo ?
what do u mean by saying “enclosure” ? i am sorry english is not my native lang
her cage/ where she lives!
Also, youre going to want to get a heating light instead of a mat :)

here is a photo
i got her with this cage
so r.now i was not able to do any upgrades
also she has an heating pad laying under one of her caves
sorry for the late answer😞
dont worry! your enclosure looks really small, also whats in her food bowl?
mealworms and one morio
but her old owner said that she does not eat herself
so i am trying to feed her with my hand
but she never wanted to eat:/
Youre going to want to get an enclosure that is at least 36x18x18 inches or 91x45x45 cm
Morio?
let me show u
If you can I recommend getting some tongs! :)
superworm I believe

Morios are better as treats because they arent very healthy as a staple feeder, I reccomend using things like meaworms, roaches, or crickets instead
yes
What are the temperatures?
here is a heating pad under one of her caves, temperatures like between 29-33 degrees
almost every night i am trying to feed her
i asked for her age but her previous owner said he didn’t know
but we know that she ovulated before
Switch the feeding schedule up a bit, you could be feeding her too often
A lot of geckos at the age of ovulation should be eating every other day at least
so you’re saying that i should feed her more often right?
but she never ate since i got her
Youve had her for 13 days right?
my gecko did not eat when i first got her either, they dont eat for a while when they settle in. has she gotten skinnier?
no she is same
i’ll read it asap thank you
