GE1 is a go to for DIYers for silicone sealants. Some points to choose silicone:
- 100% silicone
- Additive free(no special anti molding stuff or something)
If you are going to follow that though, you just have to make sure everything cures properly with enough time to keep those gasses at VERY minimal levels. In the end the silicone you use to glue stuff together will be sealed by the polyurethane.
