What fixes suspiciously dusty substrate, less topsoil more sand? Some microSIFTING? Gotta be arid but this dustiness looking devious. I was on the 30/70 playsand type and topsoil but I replaced substrate with eyeballin a while back and didn’t realize it make it DUSTY when I now hadda rearrange the tank. So far I’m thinking take out a little topsoil add some sand..?

Rewet your substrate .

When substrate dries out it can become dusty

#

So get in there with some water, mix it around and get it moist

It looked so great when I first mixed it cuz the topsoil was so moist back then onl :’)

but yes rewet it first as that’s most likely the issue. Will also help it hold shape and burrows better
