hi
So the ideal size isn't really a 20 gallon.
ohh
A 20 gallon is considered the surviving minimum, but not the thriving minimum.
A 40 gallon breeder is considered the thriving minimum.
I highly suggest reading the guide !guide
It will have a lot of crucial information you will need to know to own a leopard gecko!
ok :)
Reptiles do cost a lot of money to own and are a hefty cost to start.
but how do i get the amount of money? im quite low but can afford everything else
I would heavily suggest saving some money for some time to cover a lot of the start up costs and setup costs.
hm, ok
Do you have a job?
not yet
I would wait till you have a job.
alright then
A new tank will cost you from 150 to 230 dollars.
While the rest of the equipment will be in the hundreds.
oh, thats not too bad
You should also put at least 300 dollars aside for vet bills.
oh wow
ok :)
thank you
oh also, is 35 a good size? im still able to save for a 40 tho
You want a 40 gallon.
Really, gallons don't matter its floor space that matters the most.
36x18x18
ok, good to know
and to just ask, 300 dollars a month? per week? per year?
Most people create a vet fund. This vet fund is a lump sum of money you use if the animal needs to go to the vet.
Some people in the U.S do get insurance for their reptiles.
ohh.
