Hey,I just got a che should I keep it tempatutre lower than normal I only had it on for not 5 minutes to see if it works and it does but however the bulb was already super hot.is there a proper way to use without bulb getting to hot to the point of explosion? I feel like eve n with my thermostat that might happen.

True but I feel like it got to hot to quickly is what I was getting at.i think it was on maybe 10 minutes I couldn't touch it for awhile.

My ches always got hot quite quickly.
They produce ambient heat quite well, so the bulb tends to heat up quicker than others.
At least that has been my experience with them.
