hello!! i’ve recently upgraded my geckos tank, before he had repticarpet and now we got him loose substrate. the substrate i got was the eco earth coco fiber, and i didn’t do enough research on it. that’s 100% my fault and i take responsibility. however, i have now learned that it has a higher risk of impacting unlike other substrates due to it getting dusty when dry. are there other loose substrates i can use? someone recommended to me the exo terra’s stony desert substrate, but i’m worries the rocks are too small and he may accidentally injest them.
#good loose substrates?

in terms of substrate , exoterra stone desert can be used by itself but also in a mix with topsoil / reptisoil! C:

with loose substrate you will want to make sure you have proper heat sources such as overhead heating though!
(the images on the graphic are there to show what the products look like not necessarily suggesting those brands)
okay, thank you both so much :))
