For sand at home depot it’s like 3 bucks

Yes you can mix the two, just more on the expensive side that has already been stated.

Reptisoil is meant for more tropical setups (tis what it’s marketed for). It’s a safe topsoil alternative but we still recommend mixing it with sand to get the right consistency
