Ok so
(side rant! my brother gave me his leopard gecko because he couldn’t handle the responsibility)
I have a 29 gallon tank I just need to buy the lid and I was wondering if I should use that or should I buy a front opening enclosure instead. The 29 gallon is just lying around the house, and I already knew quite a lot of this lizards care beforehand.
She is a juvenile I believe and I’m also wondering if it’s a suitable size for her. I just want to know peoples opinions on this

hi hi! So I’m gonna pop this here just so we have it and you can take a read over it as well! !guide
The current thriving minimum size for any age is 36x18x18 (commonly sold as 40 gallons)
The actual dimensions of the tank are far more important then gallons as gallons can come in a variety of different sizes
If you have the funds to I would 100% upgrade to a front opening 36x18x18
it gives them the space for enrichment , proper heat gradient to thermoregulate themselves in and some other benefits
Thank you for answering my question
