Hello! My leopard gecko Leonardo drooled a tiny bit when I first gave him a worm this evening. I’m not sure if it’s because of a health issue I don’t know about or something else? He was looking down when the drool came out. I’m going to check his mouth in the morning and see what’s going on, but I didn’t want to disturb him anymore tonight. Any ideas on what’s going on or was it just gravity doing it’s thing?

Update: I decided to check on him bc I’m anxious as hell and his mouth appears fine from what I could tell? But I tried holding him up to my ear to see if he was sniffling and he made some strange sounds that he usually makes when he’s upset. So I couldn’t tell if he was sniffling or not?
is he still drooling? was this before or after he ate/ grabbed the worm?
It was before he grabbed the worm! He hasn’t at least as far as I’ve noticed. I called my local exotic vet and they said he could be dehydrated or it’s the onstart of a respitory infection. So I’m keeping a very close eye on him rn and if he gets worse/has other symptoms I’m going to book him an appointment!
