The game keeps breaking for me and my partner. When we open books or other interactable objects it is sometimes not possible to exit out of them. We've tried many keys on the keyborad, lmb, rmb and none worked. The only way we found to fix it is to restart the game which results in losing progress. It happened at least 5 times already and we haven't even gotten to the final room yet

Could you try unplugging any other unnecessary USB devices and leave just the necessary in? Also disconnect a controller if you have one in addition to mouse and keyboard
