Trying to play We Were Here: The Friendship on Xbox One and my girlfriend and I both are having this issue where we weren’t able to skip the intro cutscene (which became tedious on restarts and reinstalls) and then once we got to the menu, none of the buttons we pressed would do anything. We got stuck on the crossplay warning, so we restarted, and now I’m stuck on this screen unable to scroll down, and she uninstalled and then reinstalled the game and still got this issue.

Our fourth and fifth game We Were Here Forever & We Were Here Expeditions: The FriendShip support cross-play between Steam, Epic, PlayStation and Xbox. Our previous games support cross-gen for consoles.

Hi Alpha chad, sorry to hear that you encountered this bg, that must be frustrating. Have you already tried our FAQ (https://totalmayhemgames.com/support/support-we-were-here-expeditions-the-friendship/) maybe something under the connection related sections could help.
Also, do you have any devices other than your controller plugged in to your Xbox? maybe unplugging them could help with your situation

I did, but she didn’t so either way it wasn’t working for us

Ihave talked to one of our devs about this, the best he can do for you right now is manually accepting the EULA for you. I'm not sure if that will fully fix the issue the for you. If you want to try that you'll have to send me your Xbox usernames.
