it's most likely because Garena is holding APAC servers for League of Legends, meaning currency management in APAC is outside of Riot's control as LoL players from Garena don't use RP as a currency but rather some Garena shards etc etc
now Riot is hosting APAC servers for VALORANT, but the issue here is most likely caused by the fact that RP cards work in both VALORANT and League of Legends - Riot is only hosting the APAC server for VALORANT but not for League of Legends so there's no way to convert VP that users would get in VALORANT into Garena shards

also, Riot is pretty persistent in claiming that RP cards do not work in VALORANT outside of US, but that's a different story altogether - just goes on to show you how transparent Riot actually is about this issue

R6 TRACKING ISSUE

There's a bug where in R6 only your first match gets tracked and gives coins. This is due to some tracking issues on BUFF's side. Every match after the first will just make BUFF show the endgame pop up of the first match and will not award you coins.
Sadly, to address the bug tracking would need a big update which is not likely to happen very soon. For now, the only workaround is to restart R6 after every R6 match (if this doesn't work, please try restarting BUFF with R6 as well). It is indeed inconvenient but it's the only workaround we know right now.
Please do not create a ticket about this bug.
